Can I learn more before booking a session with you?
I offer free 20 minute consultations via video or over phone. These consultations are a way for you to share a bit about yourself and what you are looking for, ask any questions you have, and to learn more about me and how I work. My hope is that this meeting will give you a sense about whether or not I am the right person for you to work with.
What age groups do you work with?
I primarily work with adults. I have experience working with individuals ranging from 12 to 75, and will occasionally work with 2SLGBTQ+ youth and/or youth that are survivors of trauma.
Will my insurance cover your services?
As a Registered Social Worker my services are covered by many benefit plans. Please contact your insurance provider to see whether they cover psychotherapy provided by a Registered Social Worker. I am registered with Blue Cross, SunLife and Green Shield.
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
A limited number of student, ODSP and low-income rate appointments are available and cost $90. Unfortunately, these spots are currently full.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, cheque and e-mail transfer. Payment is due the day of the session. I provide PDF receipts via email.
What happens if I need to cancel?
I totally understand that change happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule I require 24 hours notice. You are responsible for paying the full fee of sessions that are missed, cancelled or rescheduled without 24 hours notice. This fee will be waived in the event of an emergency or if you can reschedule within the week.
